We had a Client who was returning for his second snake safari. He really Wanted to Catch a Black Mamba (Dendroaspis polylepis) and Ashes Spitting Cobra (Naja ashei) in the wild! We set out on our First full day Snake Safari to an area in Kilifi. Where we found a 9 foot black mamba! In the top of a tree and managed to catch it! The next day we did some photographer at the Watamu Snake Farm and then headed out on a half day trip to a new location on the bank of the Galanan river. We struggled at first and as the sun was dropping and the frog when coming out we found a nice ashes spitting cobra out on the hunt! What a awesome end to his trip and so lucky to find all that he was looking for!
We released all of the snake on this trip except for the Ashes Spitting Cobra as it was in a area which was very populated. So we didnt not want it to end up being killed or biting someone. We also didn't have one from this area so was good to keep for venom production to make live saving antivenom. NOTE THIS WAS ALL DONE BY TRAINED PROFESONAL DONT TRY TO DO THIS IF YOUR NOT TRAINED!
