This is a very straightforward hike that starts at the Lake Louise lakeshore. Head to the right-hand side of the lake and head up the well-beaten touristy path towards the Lake Agnes teahouse. Once you see the trail towards Little Beehive which is after Mirror Lake take a right-hand turn. Now you have left most of the tourists behind. Continue on until you see the sign which points you towards Mt. St. Piran. Take the back and forth switchbacks towards the summit. Pretty hard to get lost on this one. From here you can either return the way you came or do the loop. To do this continue towards the impressive Mt. Whyte / Niblock mountains and aim for the waterfall at the top of the scree cone. Here you will get to the col between St. Piran and Niblock. Follow the well-worn steep trail down into the valley on your left. This will return you to Lake Agnes and all the tourists once more. Beautiful views on this one with not a lot of effort required. 900m elevation gain over roughly 12.8kms. It took me about 4:45 to complete the loop.
Disclaimer - Always scramble within your own abilities. Thoroughly assess the situation and research the route. Just because I may have done this route at this time doesn't mean you can or should. GPS and/or a topo map are a valuable tool to help. Leave a route description behind with the exact location should you not arrive home at a predetermined time. Have a way to contact rescue as well if you are in an area of no cell service(SPOT, Garmin, etc.). Also, if hiking in winter make sure you have the necessary skill and knowledge regarding unstable conditions and perform a proper risk assessment prior to engaging in this activity.
