So you’ve decided to attend College of DuPage… excellent choice! Hi, I’m Rio Almaria from Admissions and Outreach, and I am so excited to help get you started on your path here at COD.
If you’re not quite sure where and how to begin, not to worry, it’s super easy. Just follow these five simple steps to enrollment at College of DuPage.
Step one: Apply. Get admitted to COD by filling out your application online.
Step two: Placement. Take a few placement tests to see which Writing, Reading and Math courses are right for you. You don’t want to end up taking classes that will be too hard, or too easy.
Step three: Meet with a counselor or program advisor to plan your classes and develop your educational plan.
Step four: Register. Sign up for the classes you need, and want, and pay tuition. You may register for classes online, in-person, by phone or through an app.
Finally, step five: Sign up for New Student Orientation. You’ll have a blast learning about all COD has to offer, plus it’s a great way to meet people and make new friends. You’ll also connect with a COD Navigator who will be there to help you stay on course during your first year.
Becoming a College of DuPage student is that easy. And remember, help is always a click or a call away. Admissions representatives are ready to help you on-line and in-person.
