From Meena Bazaar to vibrant swings and stalls, traders from across Odisha and neighbouring states gather to take part. The festival begins on Kartik Purnima and continues for seven days, drawing huge evening crowds every day.

According to tradition, idols of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati are worshipped, and colourful cultural programs are held throughout the event.
