In this video, I present a complete mechanical design project, from technical drawing analysis to 3D CAD modeling and final assembly.

The project focuses on the design of a Vertical Oscillating Steam Engine. Starting from detailed engineering drawings, I work through:

the analysis of individual mechanical components (cylinder, piston, crankshaft, flywheel, bearings, supports, etc.),

3D CAD modeling of each part,

mechanical assembly of the full mechanism,

and functional verification of the system.

This type of mechanism is an excellent example for understanding mechanical kinematics, mechanical joints, tolerances, and material selection (steel, brass, bronze, aluminum, wood).
