The Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) 2025 shows a positive development for Pakistan, with the country’s score rising to 28 and its ranking improving to 136th, reflecting steady progress through ongoing institutional reforms. On the international stage, US President Donald Trump opposed Israeli occupation of the West Bank, while Pakistan, along with eight other countries, strongly condemned Israel’s ceasefire violations in Gaza and called on the global community to act against unlawful measures. Meanwhile, Pakistan successfully completed its first national anti-polio campaign of 2026, vaccinating over 44.3 million children nationwide.
