Beef Empanada with Puff Pastry

Описание: This is our version of the beef empanada with puff pastry dough. For this recipe, we will be using ground beef and vegetables as our filling. Encasing the fillings with puff pastry gives them a light and flaky texture.


INGREDIENTS
• 500 grams Ground Beef
• 1 cup Carrot (diced)
• 1/2 cup Green Peas
• 1 cup Spanish Onion (Chopped)
• 3 Cloves Garlic (finely chopped)
• 1 cup Cremini Mushroom (Sliced)
• 1 tbsp Dried Oregano
• 1 tbsp Dried Chilli Powder
• 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
• Salt (for taste)
• Pepper (for taste)
• 1 tbsp Yellow Mustard
• 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
• 1 tbsp Maggi Sauce
• 1 tsp Ground Nutmeg
• 1 tbsp Parsley (finely chopped)

INSTRUCTION
• Saute onion in a skillet over medium-high heat
• Add ground beef and brown
• Add 1 tbs of tomato paste and stir
• Add garlic and carrot
• Add chili powder and add another 1 tbsp of tomato paste
• Add yellow mustard, Worcestershire Sauce, Maggi Sauce, salt, pepper, and oregano
• Add mushroom and stir until soft
• Add grated nutmeg, green peas, and parsley
