Abe Diaz is a Marine Corps veteran with 10 years of service and an MBA in Finance from Nova Southeastern University. He is a Microsoft Certified Trainer and currently works as a Senior Technical Advisor for a government consulting firm, where he builds Power BI reports to support financial and operational decision making. Originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, he now lives in Kansas City.

Abe is the founder of Sub Stats, a data analytics company focused on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and grappling performance. Through Sub Stats, he helps athletes, coaches, and promoters use match data to better understand performance, strategy, and trends. He is a competitive Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner (blue belt) and speaks Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.
