RED SKY/Michael Schenker Group ギターカバー【滅多に使わないエフェクターで質感再現。ワンチャンこれ...?】

Описание: こんにちは。Gakuです。今日は久しぶりにマイケル先生カバー動画です。アルバムBuilt to Destroyから鉄板カバー曲RED SKYに挑戦してみました。カバーするにあたりまして、何度も曲を聴いているうちに、ちょっと金属的なクセのあるサウンドだなと思い始めました。ひょっとしてと思い、フランジャーを繋ぎモジュレーションがかからない設定にしたところ、独特のクセが再現されたような気がしました。先日のショート動画で、同じアルバムのRock will never dieのイントロアルペジオでボスのフランジャーを使っているところから、このフランジャーを「滅多に使わないエフェクター」と紹介させていただきました。
　実際に使っているかどうかはわかりませんが、中域のクセ、高音弦がややキンキンと響く感じに近づいた感じです。原曲の曲中最後のソロの前にトラック全体にジェットサウンドのアレンジがあるため、ひょっとしたらギタートラックにも薄くかかっているのかもとワンちゃん思ったりしています。
　高校時代に、コーラスにもなるから便利だよとフランジャーを楽器屋さんにつかまされて（笑）以来、あまり使ってこなかったですが、こういう使い方もありかもと思いました。ほとんど使わないながらも、こんなこともあろうかと昨年、中古で状態の良さそうなBOSSの現行品のフランジャーBF-3を入手しておりまして、今回の録音ではそれを使っております。ぜひ、感想、コメントなどお願いします。

※動画の中で、BOSS BF-3をGeorge On！（＠浜田製作所）としていますが、正しくは濱田製作所ですね。宮崎のCATVの番組で「こちら祇園二丁目濱田製作所」の「エフェクターボー道」でエフェクターを常時ONすることをGeorge Onともじっているネタです。

Hello, this is Gaku. Today, I'm back with my first Michael Sensei cover video in a while. I tried my hand at a cover of the classic track, RED SKY, from the album Built to Destroy. In a recent short video, I mentioned the Boss flanger in the intro arpeggio of "Rock will never die," also from the same album, as a pedal I rarely use. As I listened to the song over and over again while working on my cover of RED SKY, I began to notice a strange, metallic, distinctive sound. I connected a flanger and set it to no modulation, and it seemed to recreate that distinctive character. I'm not sure if I actually used it, but it seems to have brought the midrange character and the slightly shrill high strings closer to the original. The original song features a jet sound arrangement throughout the track before the final solo, so I'm wondering if it might also be subtly applied to the guitar track. In high school, a music store guy bought me a flanger, saying it was useful for creating choruses (lol). I haven't used it much since then, but I thought it might be a good idea to use it in this way. Even though I rarely use it, I thought I might need one, so last year I bought a used, current model BOSS flanger, the BF-3, in good condition, and used it for this recording.
