From Frozen Kashmir to Vaishno Devi… This Journey Changed Everything!

Описание: Today’s journey was nothing less than an unforgettable adventure through the heart of Kashmir and beyond.

I started my day near Anantnag, Kashmir, where I had to stay overnight due to no other options. After an early morning routine and packing up the vehicle, we stopped at a pure vegetarian restaurant for some much-needed food and refreshments.

Our plan was to find a shortcut route to enter Himachal quickly, including an attempt to take the high-pass road via Kalar and Istwar. Unfortunately, the route was closed, so we had to move forward with Plan B.

As we continued driving through Kashmir, the views became absolutely breathtaking — endless valleys, farmlands, tunnels, and the raw beauty of nature surrounded us all day. It felt like the entire day was spent crossing one stunning tunnel after another while pushing towards our destination, Pathankot.

While driving, we made a spontaneous decision to head towards Katra. After reaching Katra, we checked into a hotel, freshened up, had dinner, and then began the legendary night trek to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi.

Starting the trek around midnight, I reached Ardhkuwari by 2 AM, where the cave दर्शन took a few hours. After that, I continued the climb and finally reached the Bhawan for the divine blessings.

The trek was extremely tough, but I completed it fully on foot — climbing up and coming back down the same way.
