World Of Warplanes: An Overview Of The F8F-2 Bearcat

This is an overview of the tier 7 American reward, and future premium, multirole fighter, the Grumman F8F-2 Bearcat. I have changed the format of my videos, which I am now calling 'overviews' rather than 'full reviews'. Amongst other changes, the spreadsheets are no longer examined in the video. Instead, they are available to view as a single, tabbed workbook from the link below. I say in the video that you will be able to download this but subsequently I decided only to allow viewing of it.

ERRATA:
1) In the initial attack on the Command Centre special object I say that probably I wouldn't have destroyed it with the bomb without first having sprayed it with bullets to remove a little of its hit points. That would be true of a tier 8 special object but not a tier 7 special object, which I was attacking.
2) The supporting spreadsheet is not, as stated, available as a download. You can instead view it.
3) For some reason, I got it into my head during the rushed making of this video that the plane was the F8F-*4* Bearcat. I know it's the F8F-2.

NOTE: none of the battles recorded in the "performance evaluations" of the stock and the specialised aircraft, available in the workbook, were fought with Mary Lovehart as the pilot. I would expect noticeably better performances, on average, if she is the pilot.
