The Belgian Air Component's (BAC), Lockheed Martin F-16AM Fighting Falcon Solo display on the Saturday of The Royal International Air Tattoo 2022, at RAF Fairford. The display is flown by Captain Steven "Vrieske" De Vries in F-16 unit number FA-136 which was specially decorated during July 2021 as “The X-Tiger”, a design created by Johan Wolfs and executed by the 'KeeBee' paintshop and plotter section, to celebrate 60 years of the Nato Tiger Association and 70 years of 31 Squadron, BAC.
Now in the twighlight of its career in Europe, the F-16AM is gradually being replaced by the F-35 for many Air Arms therefore the return of the Belgian Vipers to RAF Fairford was a most welcome addition.
