Decided to pop in and revisit mass effect 3. This time, I brought my two favorite girls. I got lucky with the praetorian spawns twice in this fight, which is just as well because I'm rusty.
I've seen some people say that Ashley isn't a useful squadmate in me3, and while I'd agree she isn't the absolute best, Inferno Grenade, Disruptor Ammo, and most importantly concussive shot all pair nicely with engineer main. Always been funny to me that it's just Zaeed's kit + marksman though.
In general I don't spec squadmates to deal a lot of damage anyway just to keep the game a little more difficult. For that reason, Ashley is only using a revenant, because I think it's a fitting "Soldier" assault rifle for her to use, paired with the Javelin sniper rifle for long range. I like to pick sensible character based gun loadouts, but with Ashley I have trouble deciding what that is exactly. Typhoon would certainly be fitting, but it's too OP for normal gameplay. Here though? Should've just used it.
And Tali is using Geth Plasma as always.
