It is really amazing and beautiful to see how the spider catches the prey and the way it spins web around the prey and how it eats the prey! In a flash of time the spider spins/wraps (spinning) the web around the fly or bee (insects) like a mummy of great pyramids!! Most of the times it wraps/spins with web and keeps the prey in the place it is caught in the web; it takes the prey to the center of the web and feeds on it whenever it is hungry. It cleans its web generally in the night; and maintains the web in a clean state.
The video was filmed when severe rain hit Virginia which was effect of hurricane Michael.
Fortunately the web and the spider were safe!!
The spider is fine and having a nice time when I am writing and publishing this video. It soo adorable!!!!
