You simply take a hoof knife and pop the plastic glued on taps off. Than proceed as usual with the filing and cutting of the hooves.
In this video we show also how to put a hoof boot on a horse hoof , which protects the hooves from rocks , while we are waiting for the veterinarian to come and take X-rays from her front hooves .
