The deceleration in per-store revenue growth, which has dropped from 22% in Q1FY25 to 7.08% in Q3FY25, has further dampened investor sentiment. Additionally, the re-entry of Shein into the Indian fast-fashion market through Reliance Retail has intensified competition, particularly for Trent’s Zudio brand.

High valuation is also another key concern. Despite these short-term challenges, Trent continues to expand aggressively, adding 58 Zudio and 12 Westside stores in Q3FY25, crossing a total of 900 stores.
