Hi…and welcome!
I started filming myself cooking for my teenage daughter who enjoys our family favourites but wasn’t that interested in learning to cook them at this stage of her life.
After viewing she suggested I learn to edit and put them up on YouTube for others who may want to learn basic cooking from scratch….Which is why you may hear our Labrador walking around the kitchen waiting for the carrot off cuts.
My cooking is healthy and rustic and I stock my small pantry, fridge and freezer with core ingredients, refilling them most weeks.
I rarely cook meals the same way twice, instead using whatever I have.
Nothing fancy, I believe cooking should be about sustaining your family.
Meals don’t have to taste or look the same every time you cook, that kind of pressure is too stressful.
I also love growing vegetables and thrifting vintage.
