The 2024 Hard Enduro World Championship took place on 22 June 2024 in Serbia at the Xross Hard Enduro Rally. Wade Young of Leader Tread GASGAS secured his first FIM World Championship win, fending off a fierce challenge from Teo Kabakchiev. Young’s victory came after an intense final day where Kabakchiev, riding for Sherco, made a significant push to close the gap.

Day 3 of the rally was characterized by challenging hill climbs and technical rock gulleys. The race began early at 8 AM, with Kabakchiev setting a strong pace. Despite his efforts, Young maintained his lead and finished strong, showcasing his skills and determination.

Michael Walkner achieved his best-ever world championship result by finishing in third place. Mario Roman faced difficulties with the course but managed to secure fourth place overall. David Cyprian also had a notable performance, finishing in fifth place and achieving his best world championship result.

In the Junior World Championship, Mitch Brightmore claimed victory after Suff Sella encountered engine problems close to the end of the race. Veteran rider Graham Jarvis deserves a special mention for his impressive performance, including a scratch win on day two, despite being hindered by a bent sprocket on day one.
