Inspired by our conversations with the many barbers at the Amsterdam-based barbershop, this 5-part mini series discovers the personal stories that make up the subculture of the barbering universe. From sweeping the Cut Throat floor before eventually becoming a senior barber, to exchanging a tattoo apprenticeship for a life as a barber – we aren’t simply documenting the ‘hype’ of this trendy industry. We’re narrating the personal journeys that stand central to the subculture as well as the Cut Throat brand.
