Описание: Eastern Mediterranean update on the recent activity for Q2 & Q3 2023 and upcoming wells. Egypt has licence round news with recent awards from EGAS and a new round from EGPC and GANOPE.

We cover key well campaigns offshore Egypt from BP, Shell (BG) and ENI (Petrobel) targeting a Zohr-like structure in North East Hap'y concession. Gaza Marine has been given preliminary approval for development. Israel continues to develop its discoveries with Karish North planned to come on production Q4 2023 and the Katlan area development plan expected to be given FID before 2024. Lebanon are drilling their second offshore well on the Qana prospect. Chevron continues to progress plans for developing Aphrodite with challenges from the Cyprus regulator. Turkey is drilling its first Eastern Med well in two years, Akseki-1.
