Using a simple generic aftermarket modern blade fuse kit we'll look at how to wire a late 50's, early 60's MGA as simple as can be. Since British, and European cars (honestly I think the whole world other than the US) use a separate bulb for rear turn signals and brakes which makes much more sense. it makes wiring the lights for these so much easier. The font signal lights can be wired together with the rear, and a separate line can be run for the brakes which are isolated from the turn signals.
Most aftermarket kits, Painless, Interstate etc, use the same wiring colors and the wires are labeled the whole length. In this project I used a generic kit the owner provided. I personally prefer the Interstate brand kits that allow the wires to be screwed into the box, which means they can be easily undone if they have to be rerouted, which is often the case. Hope this video helps. Enjoy.
