MOVING EARTH was a free day of ecological dance, performance and community gathering at Interface Inagh in the heart of Inagh Valley, Connemara. Rooted in environmental awareness and connection through movement, the event brought people of all ages together to explore dance in dialogue with land and water.
The programme featured workshops and performances by dance artists from across Ireland, alongside screenings of dance films from around the world. Curated and facilitated by dance artist Linda Schirmer as part of her dance residency, this eco-focused gathering celebrated creativity as a form of ecological connection and care.
MOVING EARTH was linked to Global Water Dances, an international movement initiative celebrating water through performance. As part of this global event, Linda and community members contributed a shared performance in recognition of Global Water Day.
