Описание: It's day 17 of Enhanced Community Quarantine in our place. We only have 2 places allowed to go; the house, and the backyard. These past few days we're trying to develop recipes from whatever ingredients we have at home.

If you have a loaf bread and you ran out of spread, consider making this delicious papaya tropical jam. It's heallthy and very easy to make. Be safe. Stay at home.

3 INGREDIENTS PAPAYA JAM
(No pectin needed)

𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒:
1000 g Overripe Papaya
250 g sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice

𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐂𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐑𝐄:
(1) Peel papaya skin and scrape off seeds. Slice into cubes.
(2) Put all ingredients in a heavy bottomed pan. Mix and mash papaya at the same with.
(3) Turn on the stove, simmer the mixture over low heat.
(4) Cook until consistency is thick. When the mixture is beginning to gel, put the fire off. Let cool for 5 minutes.
(5) Use a hand blender or a seive to refine the jam.
(6) Transfer to a sterilized airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for 3 weeks - 1 month.
