50 Years of Leading Worship at The Branch

Описание: If you were to ask someone, whether now or five decades ago, what they found (or find) most meaningful in the Branch gatherings, they would likely mention the music. Whether it was in the Clemmer kitchen with just Wes on guitar, or in the 1,200 seat auditorium with Donavan and a full band and production team, many gifted leaders have helped us engage with God through song over the past 50 years, and this video features most of them. But many volunteers led worship over the years that aren't seen here, such as Nelda Metzler, Aaron Bishop, and Jared Byas, and whom God used just as effectively in encouraging our worship. I wish I could have included all of them, but I was limited by the images and videos to which I had access.

What prompted me to create this video was finding a recording of a Branch worship ministry banquet from October 9, 1998 (about two years before I joined the staff), during which Shari Nice shared the history of that team - up to that point, of course. To cover the rest of the history, I included video clips of each of the staff worship leaders leading up to today. It's a great group, and I'm proud to have known so many of them! Enjoy!
