Описание: Students at St. Matthew Catholic School in Charlotte researched their families' histories and then participated in a special "Immigration Day" program March 17, in which they re-enacted their ancestors' coming to America. They experienced going through Ellis Island, with some getting deported for not having their proper paperwork, and successful immigrants taking American citizenship tests.
