The Elephant Sanctuary | Sissy Listens to the Cello

Описание: Sissy and Nosey recently received a very special auditory enrichment when Caregiver Sam J. stopped by to serenade them with his cello. The cello has an endpin that sits on the ground, transmitting vibrations into the earth, which Staff expected the elephants might feel and experience, but this is not known for sure. Sissy showed more of an interest than Nosey as she appeared to listen intently to the sound of Sam playing the cello beautifully. She was described as relaxed throughout, occasionally making popping and rumbling noises — a known sign of cheerfulness and excitement for Sissy.
