How that we have learned how to control our breathing, activate the vestibular system (roll), connect the nervous system and musculoskeletal system (rocking), pass force through the trunk and operate our shoulders and hips (bugs & bridges); we have to learn how to connect ourselves to the ground and use these tools to generate movement on two feet.
Activating and consciously using our feet allows us to connect our selves firmly to the ground and helps sequence movement more efficiently.
This week we explore how to connect our feet to our core as well as utilize 2 simple drills (posture hinges & robot arms) to apply the principles and skills we have been developing up to his point.
