J24 S/V Meitei V Tongyeong Bay Sailing Fall of 2023, Double/Singlehanded 통영만 세일링

Описание: First day : Cleaned the hull in the morning that took a while, much longer than the usual. The marine creatures on the bottom were different this time and got stuck very hard to the hull. The water was murky. Went out observing less than 8 knots in the afternoon with Daniel. Tried out new genoa and mailsail and they were great. Had a big supper and chatted till late over can beers. Got chilly outside and headed to the lodge late.

Second day : Daniel had to leave early for a personal reason. Early morning wind was good as Windguru forecasted(the exact reason that I did not leave with him). Brought up the jib and went out. Singlehanded toward the north of the bay. Fresh breeze got stronger. Turned away to run and headed to the channel between Hwado and Hansando islands where wind usually gets much stronger. Headed up toward outside of the channel and sailed back all the morning. Especially enjoyed numerous dog legs of beating in the direction of the marina. 10 to 15 kts northerlies in the morning and died down a bit in the afternoon. Sailed into the mouth of Hansando and headed back to the port. Debriefed with several drafts at Tejedor and took a long last in the cabin.
