Announcing a first time, Limited Edition ski collaboration with Philadelphia based tattoo artist and illustrator, Henry Hablak.
Henry spends a lot of time in libraries and museums researching folk stories, mythology and religious imagery. He's fascinated and inspired by the similarities cultures share, even when Worlds apart, concluding "we're all programmed the same."
Henry drew all of the artwork for this ski by hand. The panther is a very popular tattoo animal he felt fit well onto the skinny canvas of a ski. The base patterns are inspired by his countless stays with Southwest Pueblo tribes, who's colorful pattern work is often seen on their legendary ceramic vases.
"El Patron" is a Spanish expression that means "The Boss". I'm building only 400 pair of these Limited edition skis and hand signing and numbering each. Be a boss and grab a pair before they sell out!
