The Institute for Fiscal Studies has warned that if the government sticks to the triple lock pension promise, then they'll have to tell workers they can't claim a state pension until they're 74 - otherwise it will bankrupt the country.
The current promise means that state pensions rise by either the rate at which wages grow, the inflation rate, or by 2.5% depending on which is highest.
That costs £150billion at the moment - but by 2070 it will have risen to at least £240billion unless a change is made.
