Fire fighters in the Pakistani city of Quetta were battling a large fire at a warehouse housing vital UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugee) supplies on Wednesday.
Warehouse manager, Dr. Sikandar Khan, said the cause of the blaze was unknown but investigators were not ruling out arson.
Khan said he had been called to the warehouse after a security guard heard a "very loud explosion."
The warehouse stocked vital supplies including tents and clothing for Afghan refugees.
UNHCR chief Charles Lynch said there were no injuries, only the loss of their much needed humanitarian items.
Quetta, in Baluchistan province, has been the scene of an insurgency by Baluch nationalists who are demanding greater rights and share from the income generated from gas and minerals extracted from the region.
