Drug suspect leads horse-riding Fla. sheriffs on extended foot chase: video

Описание: Jacksonville, Fla. Sheriffs officers chased down a suspected drug perp on horseback in an extended foot-versus-hoof chase caught on bodycam camera.

Jordan Wilson, 25, had supposedly just made a suspicious narcotics handoff when JSO Officer Cassie Haire, mounted on her trusty steed Nash, spotted the possible crime and began pursuit with the help of three other mounted officers, on Tuesday.

“Get that bad man, Nash!,” Haire says, encouraging her horse as Wilson runs on foot across a busy roadway.

Wilson manages to keep some distance from the horse — the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office being forced to speed up the video release for brevity’s sake.

The suspect is warned to stop or he’ll be “run over” by the horses as he seems to make some distance as he sprints through streets and parking lots with the three horse-riding officers in pursuit.

“Bro, you’re not going to be able to outrun us on the horse,” Haire admonishes Wilson, adding, “You better stop.”
