About the Novel: In this experimental visualization of Chapter 1 from the original novel Paths of Hides and Iron, which I am currently writing. I use AI-assisted artistry to bring 18th-century Cherokee history to life. This is the first chapter of the first installment of what I hope to be the Mothers of Corn and Blood saga, a historical fiction series following the fictional matrilineal line of Onai, Ayonli, Sali, and Awentia through the historic events and changes that impacted the Cherokee people in the 1700s.

About the Video: As a creator focused on travel and history, I’ve combined traditional research with cutting-edge AI tools to explore the "Cinematic Zoom" of the Cherokee past—from the wide shots of the Appalachian wilderness to the intimate sensory details of deerskin, woodsmoke, and a changing landscape.

While the characters are fictionalized, the setting, material culture, historical figures and social structures are based on historical records and scholarly works on Cherokee culture, society, and history.
