Over the years many people have marked Baby Pokemon as some of the most undesired group of pokemon in existence. The fans usually want a stronger and better version of an old favorite Pokémon, and not a weaker / smaller one.
But I think baby pokémon are actually pretty cool if you look at them from a game design perspective.
Which is what @Golden_Owl and I do in this video. Let's discuss why some Baby Pokemon work, like Chingling, and why some don't, like Pichu.
