He describes the technique and background surrounding the upcoming AADC Gene Therapy Trials for children suffering with Aromatic Amino Acid (AADC) deficiency. These trials will hopefully begin mid 2015 and have the potential to improve the symptoms suffered by our AADC children beyond recognition. This trials success also has the potential to set the benchmark for the treatment of many other neurotransmitter diseases in the future.
