Today I thought I'd tackle the latest cryptic crossword published by the New York Times. If you are only familiar with the ordinary NYT crossword style, cryptics might seem entirely baffling. That's understandable! I'm far from an expert myself, so I've tried to talk this one through in great detail, to acquaint you with many of the common conventions of the form.
