Ever since I heard Caroline Polachek's "On the Beach", I knew I had to recreate it. Here is my take, where the haunting vocal line, the chords, the bass, and some of the synth textures are performed on guitar. I also created an unusual solo at the end!
This was a really fun one to arrange, layering all the different guitar parts to build the full atmosphere of the track. I'm a huge fan of both Caroline Polachek and Hideo Kojima's worlds, so I hope this instrumental guitar version does justice to the source material for all the other fans out there!
