Описание: "First Friday" is a monthly brown-bag research seminar and webinar for faculty and students, featuring guest speakers on timely topics of interest. This session featured Dr. Barton-Burke’s speaking about her clinical and research in career. Her clinical expertise has focused in the area of fatigue, sexuality, pain management, and symptom management. Her research interests are an outgrowth of her clinical interests including long-term cancer survivorship, including the survivorship of black women with breast cancer. She is a co-author of award winning books including Oncology Nursing Drug Handbook and Cancer Chemotherapy: A Nursing Process Approach. Both books earned the American Journal of Nursing Book of the Year award.
