Summary: In this 30 mins talk, Pooja Elangbam talks about the need to maintain a balance between various things in our lives. She shared her journey to become an IAS officer, also addressing other social issues thereby encouraging the youths to take up education as a mean to bring a positive change in our society.

The Massive Open Talk envisioned as MitSna’s MOT is being organized with the vision to not only increase the employability of our youth, but also create a generation of employers and young entrepreneurs and over and ability above instill in them a sense of commitment to the society.
Eminent Social Scientist Oja Dhanabir Laishram; Pooja Elangbam, ADC-IW, IAS; Thounaojam Brinda, ASP-NAB, MPS; Prof N Rajmuhon Singh, Professor of Chemistry & Dean, MU; Renedy Singh, Former Indian Football Captain; Roshnikumar Yambem, Founder, Globizs and Dr.Pibarel Meetei, Founder, Medilane spoke at the event.

The event aimed to bring to light the following issues:-
•The rigid and the outdated education system in the state and the need to adapt to the changing pace of technology.
•The need to de-stigmatize nonacademic education and reinstate vocational training,sports, art, music and drama.
•The issue of ‘Education for the sake of education’.
•Institutionalization of institutions in Manipur turning education into a commodity.
