Ep. 7 - YT624EJ M.S. - Shear Bolt Inspection and Information

Описание: This videos steps through the various shear bolts on the YT624EJ snowblower, their locations, and talks about tips and tricks in working on them. We also learn in this video that the kit sold by Yamaha does not actually contain all the shear bolts that are on this unit, namely it is missing the impeller bolt, collar and nut are omitted. Of course I'd have known this if I'd have opened the kit sooner than four years into its ownership.

I was quite surprised to see that the shear bolts on my unit are in new condition after operating for four years. My unit is stored indoors and salt use on my road is minimal if any.

Auger Shear Bolt Torque: 10 N-m = 88 in-lbs
Impeller Shear Bolt Torque: 15 N-m = 132 in-lbs
