This gritty and controversial "rape-and-revenge" Western stars Michele Carey as Alice McAndrew, a schoolteacher traveling across the Arizona territory. Her journey turns into a nightmare when her stagecoach is ambushed by a gang of ruthless outlaws led by the sadistic Pudge Elliott (Keenan Wynn). After being brutally assaulted and left for dead in the desert, Alice is rescued and nursed back to health by a solitary Apache named Chatto, played by Henry Silva. As she recovers, Alice’s trauma transforms into a cold, relentless desire for vengeance. Under Chatto's guidance, she learns the skills of a warrior and begins to hunt down the five men who destroyed her life, one by one. The film is noted for its stark violence and was a precursor to other famous films in the subgenre like Hannie Caulder.
