UPDATE: As of the 1.2 version , you don’t have to go to your ship and then go to the Nova bar. You also don’t need SF Engine Fixes to get the proper appearance.

The Starfield Engine Fixes mod by Larann Kiar, which depends on the Starfield Script Extender, will correct an issue with Estelle's appearance.

I chose not to install these extra mods. If you choose to do so, you should add

to StarfieldEngineFixesCustom.ini
