Описание: Here's my video game saxophone cover of David Peacock's Chrono Trigger Medley from Chrono Trigger! I'm Sab and I love saxophone and video games, so now I make covers that combine two of my favorite things!

This was such a fun project to put together. I seriously cannot thank David Peacock enough for this! I asked him about writing a piece for my senior recital last November and having it be a selection of music from Chrono Trigger. If you didn't know, Chrono Trigger is my favorite game haha! It just so happened that Chrono Trigger is David's favorite game too! He had never written anything for saxophone, but he did such an amazing job. He did thorough research and worked with me over logistics.

He did such a beautiful job weaving together all the songs I wanted included, and even having motives overlap throughout the medley! I wanted to do something fun since the video is a single shot from my recital. I've had fun incorporating particles into videos recently, having the color reflect the emotion or setting I associate with that moment in the game. I wanted to use that here in this medley, as well as change the speed of the particles depending on the intensity of the song.

This was such a fitting ending to my senior recital. I played Chrono Trigger my first year of college and it's held a special place in my heart ever since. It also wouldn't be my recital if there wasn't video game music haha! I also cannot thank Yoshiko enough for all her hard work. She knew all the other music in the recital well before my recital, but she also worked so hard to bring this arrangement to life.
