Parachute Inspections 🔎 Who Does Them and When? 🪂

Описание: Your powered parachute wing is an incredible piece of technology—strong, reliable, but also subject to wear and tear. Regular visual inspections are essential, but did you know your wing should also be professionally inspected at least once a year?

Who can perform these inspections? If you’re a rated light sport aircraft repairman for powered parachutes, you can do it yourself. However, many pilots, including myself, choose to send their wings to an inspection service after 150+ flight hours.

Inspection services can be provided by the wing manufacturer, a parachute rigger, or an independent powered parachute specialist. Local skydiving drop zones are a great resource for finding riggers, and powered parachute wing inspection services can be found with a quick internet search.
