Thank you to fellow Rail enthusiast Mark @sparkynl1271 for the heads up about this once in a nearly three decade event. The Badger, the Class 89, out on test on the West Coast mainline, under the watchful eye of several of the team from Locomotive Services and the AC Group, those both on the train and one or two at the station.
A big thank you to the good folks of Stafford Station, notably Mike and Phil, for their permission to be here to catch the Badger's arrival. Please be aware that this is down to their discretion and shouldn't just be assumed consent. I am a regular visitor to the station, and the team there see me daily and know of my character.
