The Real Revolutionary Sound System was born at the beginnings of 2013, in Lima, Peru, when German singer Sven Vosseler got together with Peruvian musicians that came from different musical backgrounds. The sound the RRSS offers derives from reggae, ska, ragamuffin, and Caribbean/Jamaican dancehall. It is influenced by a rich mix of jazz, rock, cumbia, blues, and sounds as diverse as the people who put them together. As a result, the RRSS generates a very distinct and strong sound, but above all, it emits happiness and individuality.

We are the Real Revolutionary because we believe that a real revolution comes from substantial and constant action. It has to begin with us and happen within us, in our way of communicating and interacting. It´s the only way to change our way of thinking in a conscious and empathetic manner. As a result, we will develop a caring society with a higher quality of life, which will consist of a lot more entertainment, music, and dancing.
