In a world defined by radiation, power armor, revolting meals, and moral collapse, Thaddeus survives through humiliation, bad luck, and sheer endurance (as opposed to strength, integrity, or physical prowess). His arc is funny, painful, and quietly devastating, serving as one of the show’s clearest examples of Fallout’s signature tone: apocalyptic mundanity. Abject and often cravenly, Thaddeus is nonetheless worthy as an ideal survivor of the wasteland.
