SUPER GRADUATION? | University of Southampton Graduation Vlog

In 2019/2020, just before starting Medicine, I completed a PGCE in Secondary Science through Southampton where I worked in schools and picked up my qualified teacher status. Because of covid I've been waiting 2 years to celebrate. Southampton decided to graduate all of the classes of 2020,2021 + 2022 across 3 days at St Mary's Stadium and called it a 'Super Graduation'. It had mixed reviews but here's what the day was like from my perspective! P.s hope you enjoy meeting my parents lol x

From next week med school content we'll pick up where we left off with my 2nd year med school exams week vlog.....

Hi!! I’m Lydia and I'm a 25 yr old studying medicine as a 2nd degree. I'm originally from Poole in Dorset but right now I'm in my 2nd year studying medicine in Southampton after being rejected from multiple med schools over multiple years. Before this I did a Biology degree and then I trained to be a science teacher (both in Southampton) before finally getting a place at med school! I make weekly and daily vlogs documenting my journey as well as uni and study advice.... outside of medicine I work in a pub to fund my uni costs, love love to travel and explore new places, binge watch netflix and go out out :) Thank you so much for watching xx
