Job reveals God’s sovereignty, wisdom, and justice amid human suffering. A righteous man endures deep loss without knowing the reason, while his friends wrongly assume suffering always comes from sin. God answers by displaying His unmatched power and knowledge. Job humbly submits, and God restores him, showing that His purposes are greater than human understanding.
Verse 1 — The Blameless Man (Job 1–2)
In the land of Uz stood a righteous man,
blameless, upright in all he had.
But the Accuser roared before the throne,
“Strike his life and watch him fall.”
Storms took children, fire took flocks—
Yet Job bowed low and blessed the Lord.
Verse 2 — The Ashes and the Cry (Job 3)
Scraping wounds with shattered clay,
cursed the night he first saw day.
“Let darkness swallow my birth,” he cried,
“Why is misery given to those who sigh?”
Silence burned like a desert wind—
a soul undone, a heart laid bare.
Verse 3 — The Friends Who Wound (Job 4–31)
Three came near with solemn eyes,
But their counsel cut like knives.
“Surely sin has brought you low,”
They spoke what they did not know.
Job held fast to his integrity—
“God is just, yet I bleed.”
Chorus — Though He Slay Me (Job 13)
Though He slay me, still I hope,
In the darkness I will stand.
My Redeemer lives forever—
I will see Him with my eyes.
Let the heavens judge my cause,
Let the Almighty answer me.
Though He slay me, still I hope—
His truth is fire in my bones.
Verse 4 — The Young Voice Rising (Job 32–37)
Elihu burned with righteous flame,
calling pride and doubt by name.
“God speaks in thunder, dream, and pain—
He rescues souls from the pit again.”
Storm clouds gathered, winds grew wild—
The Holy One drew near.
Verse 5 — The Whirlwind Speaks (Job 38–41)
Then the Lord broke in with power,
lightning crowned the trembling hour.
“Where were you when I formed the deep?
Do you command the dawn to speak?
Tell Me, Job, if you know how—
Can you tame Leviathan now?”
Creation roared with holy fire—
The Almighty stood revealed.
Chorus — Though He Slay Me (Job 13)
Though He slay me, still I hope,
In the darkness I will stand.
My Redeemer lives forever—
I will see Him with my eyes.
Let the heavens judge my cause,
Let the Almighty answer me.
Though He slay me, still I hope—
His truth is fire in my bones.
Verse 6 — Dust and Surrender (Job 42:1–6)
Job fell down in awe and fear,
“Now my eyes have seen You clear.
I repent in dust and ash—
Your wisdom stands, my words collapse.”
Silence bowed before His throne—
The fear of God made whole.
Final Verse — The Restoration (Job 42:7–17)
God rebuked the friends who lied,
lifted Job and sanctified.
Blessing doubled, mercy poured,
children laughing once more.
From the ashes rose a man—
held by the faithful hand of God.
Final Chorus
Out of the whirlwind, truth was born,
out of the fire came the Lord.
No power stands before His name—
He gives, He takes, He heals, He reigns.
Though the night is long and fierce,
His voice breaks through the storm.
Out of the whirlwind, God is God—
And every knee will bow.
Cinematic folk intro features acoustic riff, then crashes into heavy, down-tuned guitars and distorted bass for a fierce nu-metal meets progressive-metal assault, Explosive drums unleash technical fills, polyrhythms, and odd meters, while vocals veer between guttural screams, harsh shouts, and soaring melodies, The arrangement swings from calm tension to relentless, towering riffs, using abrupt tempo changes and emotional crescendos, Power-packed melodic hooks rise before massive drops, emphasizing shifting dynamics and a complex, high-energy sonic landscape, ‑no falsetto
