We must start teaching AI in schools to build foundational skills early. Focus development on impactful areas like education (personalized learning, teacher tools) and agriculture (crop prediction, pest detection, yield optimization for farmers).
The government must heavily fund R&D, provide compute resources, and support startups in these domains to create meaningful, homegrown AI that serves India's needs—not just import and rebrand.
